This privacy notice covers personal data processed when visiting equipbeyondsuccess.ch and contacting the association. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies in particular.

2. Website operation and logs

Website requests involve technical connection data. This may include your IP address, time, requested URL, browser, operating system, transferred data volume, status information and referring website. Such data is used to deliver and secure the website, investigate errors and prevent misuse.

Hosting: Our web and email provider is ROTH media, rothmedia.net. Server infrastructure is operated with Server4You in Strasbourg, France. Access logs rotate daily; 14 archived files are retained in addition to the current log file. In regular operation this corresponds to approximately 14–15 days.

3. Email enquiries

When you contact us, we process your email address, your name where supplied, the message content and its time. We use this information to respond to and handle your enquiry. Contacting us does not automatically subscribe you to advertising or a newsletter. General enquiries do not require information about religious beliefs or other sensitive personal data.

Email services are provided by ROTH media, rothmedia.net, using server infrastructure in Strasbourg, France.

4. Vimeo videos

We embed videos provided by Vimeo.com, Inc., USA. The external player loads only after you select the labelled load button. Without that action, this video component does not connect to the Vimeo player. Preview images are served locally.

Loading the player sends data such as your IP address and browser information to Vimeo. Vimeo may associate this information with an existing account. The player uses dnt=1, which limits new cookies; previously stored Vimeo cookies may still be sent. Playback therefore does not guarantee anonymity.

Data may be processed in the United States. Vimeo states that it participates in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and identifies other transfer instruments, including standard contractual clauses. See Vimeo’s privacy notice and cookie information for its processing. To avoid connecting to Vimeo, do not load the player. Visiting Vimeo directly also involves processing by Vimeo.

5. Matomo analytics and local resources

We use Matomo to understand how our website is used and to improve our content. Analytics is provided through our installation at analytics.rothmedia.net. When analytics is enabled for this website, the Matomo script loads automatically on page views. There is no prior consent prompt and no analytics selection buttons on this privacy page.

Technical usage data may include pages visited, time, referring website, browser and device information. Your IP address is also technically transmitted when connecting to the analytics server. Matomo tracking cookies are disabled in this integration; it does not save an analytics choice in your browser’s local storage. Disabling tracking cookies does not mean complete anonymity.

The retention criteria in the “Retention and security” section apply. This integration does not intentionally send names or email addresses as a user identifier. Technical website-access data is processed independently of Matomo analytics; see section 2.

The website’s font, image, CSS and JavaScript resources are served locally, except for the Matomo tracker and the Vimeo videos described separately that load after a click. Technical TYPO3 functions may require cookies in particular situations. Your browser settings let you inspect and delete stored cookies and local website data.

6. Recipients and international processing

Access is limited to people and service providers who need data for the stated purposes or where disclosure is legally required. Hosting and email providers may receive data as technical providers. The hosting and email services described above are provided in France. Vimeo’s possible US processing is described above.

7. Retention and security

We retain personal data for the time required for its purpose, legal obligations or legitimate legal claims, then delete or anonymise it. Access-log retention is described in section 2. Enquiries are deleted after completion unless further retention is required for the purposes stated above. We use appropriate technical and organisational protection. Ordinary email can involve security risks; agree a suitable method with us before sending particularly confidential information.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access and, where appropriate, correction or deletion, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent for future processing. Legal retention requirements or overriding obligations may limit individual rights. Contact info@equipbeyondsuccess.ch. We may reasonably verify your identity.

You may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Other legal remedies remain available.

9. Updates

We revise this notice when the website or our data processing changes. Dated 16 October 2026.
